The Indians Land Being Takeover

         From the early 1800s onward Native Americans were told to give up their lands. Much of them lived in communities as farmers and hunters. They lived peacefully and in groups. Although at first the Native Americans and the white men, also known as European, used to get along well. A name for all the tribe are called Sioux, this breaks up to three well known Native Americans groups, the Dakota, Lakota and Nakota.

    White American officials chose the new idea for Native Americans to have 'Christian names' instead of their own Native American names. Native Americans who accepted assimilation were basically forced to change their names.Cause if they don't they were not to be called Americans and wont be know as a white man. Native American names were considered to too long and complicated for white Americans and thus were told to change their names to make it easier to understand.

           By 1862 a major problem attacked the Dakota because they agreed to live in the reservations but with annuties. Which the government did not contribute. Angry Dakota attacked leading to the Red Cloud's war of 1866-1868.Their ideas was to make reservations for the Indians. Many Indians disliked the idea. They wanted to story because of their culture.

   If a Native American assimilated completely it did not mean he or she was out of the woods yet. Racism was very common in schools and colleges where both whites and Native Americans would go to. Usually whites would feel superior to the Native Americans and were not shy to mention this to them in the form of racism and harassment.
Sitting Bull born a leader was now surrendering to the white men which controled everything without a protest. Sitting Bulll accompanied by his small amount of troops claimed to live in the reservation due to the lost of their relatives. Arriving at Standing Rock Reservation Sitting Bull finds himself with his son which he was now working for them as a police officer in the reservation and almost lost in the white men ways.

  When most of the Native Americans were colonized after the early 1800s, assimilation occurred. This act caused the few Native Americans who accepted to change their names to Christian names, like John, or Jacob. This also caused the males to cut off their hair which was basically their pride and honor. Feelings about assimilation were bad on both the whites and Native Americans.

My Ancestry!!!!!!

       Usually we PuertoRicans move to the US for a better education and some other stuff like jobs and a better life cause in the US there are more jobs that they are in Puerto Rico and there is a better economic life than there is in PR so its better to move to the US cause you would live a better life.

       In my family they are some of my uncles that have go to the US to find better jobs and have more money for there family and other stuff needed the point is that without the US we were going to be nohing and thats wy we need the US to survive and have money to for our family.

    In my family mi Sister immigrated to the US for a year so she could be in a better economic way so she could feed her daughter cause here in PR she didnt have a good job hat could bring some money to the family and some food for her daughter

Fox National Reports Conflict in New PPD Immigration Policy

       In this video they are talking about the immigrants that were in the US that they were illegal immigrant they are being ask that if they have any driver license and they dint have any and they were driving all over the US and they were saying that they can be arrested for that. In my opinion were are very lucky that we are legal people.

First person experience

       In the first person experience if i was in that situation i really would survive that long has they did is very hard it look easy but it aint.

      It must be very dificult being does kind of person trying to escape from justice and the law its must be very hard and painful watching them trying to hide.

      In conclution its very hard living like that and i would like to live like that its to painfull and i will rather kill myself.

The Italian Immigration

       Italy was one of the most overcrowded countrys in Europe they started to leave italy cause they were trying to escape high taxes and low wagers most of these immigrants were from rural countrys that were searching for better life and be more happy.

      There journey to the US was a very difficult one cause they needed to be in other words undercover for the US guards and the cops who were guarding for people that were immigrants in there experience its was a very hard life for them.

      For the one that arrive to the US they were having a better life than before in there country's cause in the us there is better economic than in other country's the life for these lucky people were better for them and there family.

       I have learned that i have to be lucky of what i got cause there are people that don't have not even the half that what i have so i must thank god for what i have.
